We want every parent planning a trip to be able to use Level Up Adventures, including people who use a screen reader, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced motion. This page says what we aim for, what we know falls short, and how to reach us.
§ 01What we build to
- Standard. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
- Structure. Pages use real headings, landmarks, and a skip target, so assistive tech can move through an article by section.
- Images. Photos carry descriptive alt text; purely decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- Motion. Scroll and hero animations respect your system’s reduced-motion setting.
- Checks. Public pages are audited with automated accessibility tooling before changes ship, and reviewed by hand when layouts change.
§ 02Known limitations
- Embedded video. Videos play through YouTube. Caption quality depends on YouTube’s player and auto-captions, which we do not control.
- Third-party sites. Booking, deal, and affiliate links lead to sites we do not run, and their accessibility is outside our reach.
- Downloadable guides. PDF products in the shop are designed for print and may not be fully tagged for screen readers. If you need an accessible version of a guide you bought, email us and we will send one.
§ 03Tell us what is not working
If any part of the site is hard to use, email support@level-up-adventures.com with the page address and what went wrong. A real person reads it, usually within 1–3 business days. More ways to reach us are on the contact page.
